DEEP TECH

For the February 2007 through March 2008 issues of Mac|Life I wrote a monthly column called Deep Tech, in which I explained in laymen's terms - and, hopefully, with a bit of lightheartedness - some of the more interesting tech news of the month. As the magazine became more and more consumer-oriented, however, I felt that it'd be best for me to take my analyses elsewhere - even when those analyses were as consumer-friendly as those in Deep Tech.

For futuristic "gee whiz" tech, check out Get Ready for the iPill or 21st Century Transformers; for news from the bleeding edge of microprocessor technology, see The Next Big Thing - Nothing, or Managing Multicore.
